The guest house is located in a quiet residential area with no through traffic and within approx. 5 minutes walk to the sea front and 15 minutes from Weymouth Harbour.

This important building was commissioned in 1902 by Sir Frederick Johnstone, a politician and as he was a close friend of King Edward V11 there is a plaque on the front elevation to commemorate the coronation.
