Lee on Solent is a small seaside town about five miles west of Portsmouth (via the Gosport Ferry) and within the environs of Southampton. The area is located on the coast of The Solent with views across to The Isle of Wight. It is primarily a residential area with many older people which attracts custom to the guest house from visiting relatives and friends. It is also the former home of a royal naval air station now called Daedalus with now some civilian flying but provides a site for many private companies in The Solent Enterprise Zone and The Hovercraft Museum.

A small bed and breakfast guest house in a good location. A ten minute drive to the Gosport Portsmouth ferry. Located a five minute walk to the high street which has a good assortment of shops, tea rooms and restaurants with a price to suit all budgets. There are lots of interesting places to go for days out, be it for fun, for history lovers and of course the New Forest is within easy reach, but only about 1 mile from the guest house is Alver Country Park.

The guest house is close to the beach and is ideally situated to enjoy the small village feel whilst being close to good eating places and the local historical attractions. There is a regular bus service from just outside the guest house which takes guests to the ferry for Portsmouth attractions and also a service to Fareham and Southampton which allows visits to all the local areas without the need for a car.
